Montreal Bride

This image is based upon the urban myth that a Bride was bitten by a snake in Montreal Botanical Garden whilst posing for wedding photos, and died. Story here: [link]

I chose to use this urban legend as it is not quite as exciting as alot of popular myths and legends- I wanted to use something quite bland- and make a beautiful image for it.

The theme I have focused on is art nouveau - particularly the work of Alfons Mucha.
As you can see the snake is 'hidden' within the nouvaeu inspired circles decor- with flowers within the snakes pattern and bride's hair to represent the gardens.
